Our mission
College fantasy football has the most passionate player pool in the hobby and the worst data. With 136 FBS teams, a transfer portal that reshuffles depth charts every offseason, and blowouts that pull starters by halftime, gut-feel rankings fail CFF managers every single week. CFF Central exists to fix that: a rankings, projections and start/sit platform built entirely on real college football data, refreshed weekly, and honest about what the numbers can and cannot tell you.
How our numbers are built
Real FBS data
Player production, schedules and team context are ingested from the CollegeFootballData API, covering every FBS program across all 15 weeks of the 2026 season.
Transparent projections
Every projection ships with a floor, ceiling, matchup grade and value-over-replacement score, so subscribers can see exactly how a number was derived — not just the number.
Refreshed weekly
Rankings and projections re-run automatically every Tuesday morning as new game data lands. Every refresh is audited, and subscribers get the biggest movers in a weekly email digest.
The team
CFF Central is run by a small, remote team of college football analysts and engineers who play in CFF leagues ourselves. We handle everything in-house — from the projection model and data pipeline to the advice columns — which is why the site moves fast when the portal opens or a starting quarterback goes down on a Saturday.
